Directions to Matagamon Wilderness Camps

Coming from the South: On I-95 get off at Sherman/Patten Exit 264 (formerly exit 58). Go left on Route 11 for 9 miles to Patten. Take Route 159 west out of Patten for 26 miles, we are located on the East Branch of the Penobscot River.

Coming from the North: On I-95 get off at Exit 276 (formerly exit 59) at Island Falls. Go right and travel West on Route 159 for 10 miles to Patten. Continue on Route 159 out of Patten for 26 miles to camp.

Coming by Air: Bangor International Airport is the closest airport from us and is located about 125 miles away.
